Technical Sales Specialist/Applications Scientist

• Train customers and prospective customers in government, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, academic institutions, chemical companies, battery and battery testing companies, and others in hardware optimization, chemistry optimization, software use, and data analysis for the use of high-tech chemical process safety equipment, lab-scale and scale up bioreactors, battery testing equipment, chemical synthesis optimization, and chemical catalysis optimization instruments;
• Install chemical process safety equipment, lab-scale and scale-up bioreactors, battery testing equipment, chemical synthesis optimization, and chemical catalysis optimization instruments;
• Consult customers on the same type of instruments in the same application areas as described above on a pre-sales basis and throughout the long life of the instruments;
• Possess expert-level ability in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Possess excellent presentation abilities (face-to-face, in front of groups and virtually);
• Attend technical conferences; and
• Visit existing customers and prospective customers in person across the US.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field, or foreign education equivalent, and two years of experience in the job offered or in performing research in chemistry and/or pharmaceutical related sciences.
