H.E.L Group will be exhibiting at Challenges in Catalysis IX. Find us in the exhibition during the lunch and afternoon breaks — or arrange a meeting in advance.
Challenges in Catalysis for Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals is a biennial one-day symposium run jointly by SCI’s Fine Chemicals Group and the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Applied Catalysis Group. Now in its ninth edition, it brings academic and industrial scientists together to debate where catalysis is heading and what industry needs from it, with lectures spanning homogeneous, heterogeneous and enzymatic catalysis. The 2026 programme includes earth-abundant metal catalysis in process chemistry, data science combined with high-throughput experimentation for scalable catalysis, and the cost of catalysis.
That is the work our catalysis and hydrogenation range is built for: the CAT and DigiCAT parallel reactors for high-throughput and automated catalyst screening, ChemSCAN for hydrogenation and catalyst screening with gas uptake kinetics measured, and FlowCAT for continuous-flow process development at high pressure. For the step after screening, our bench and pilot reactors take chemistry towards scale-up.
Full programme and registration details are on the SCI event page and the RSC events listing.
Let us know and we will find time to talk during the symposium.
