With tightened safety supervision over energy storage and power batteries, lithium battery fire liability investigation and thermal explosion prevention have become core industry pain points. Accelerating Rate Calorimetry (ARC) serves as a central tool for risk tracing and compliance testing — and newly issued regulations on battery fire judicial appraisal require enterprises to build an integrated capability system covering testing instruments, industrial standards, accident identification and R&D risk control.

What’s new for 2026

Doubled speaker lineup

Newly added specialists in public security fire forensics, chemical thermal safety, national energy storage standards and battery failure analysis — covering R&D, compliance, judicial appraisal and instrument operation.

Three new modules

  • Thermal risk assessment for fine chemical reactions
  • Judicial practice for lithium battery fires
  • AI analytics and non-destructive failure detection
Closed-loop exchange

From fundamental mechanism through instrument testing, standard compliance and fire accident appraisal to mass production. Hands-on training, laboratory tours and one-to-one expert Q&A all retained.

Exclusive: public security fire forensics

The biggest change from previous years. Authoritative specialists from public security fire and fire evidence identification will interpret the Rules for Public Security Organs’ Forensic Appraisal, Regulations on Fire Accident Investigation and industry standards for fire identification.

  • On-site investigation workflows and physical evidence collection for lithium battery fires
  • Judicial appraisal logic and thermal runaway trace identification standards
  • Official fire accident report criteria and product liability definition for manufacturers
  • Real energy storage and EV fire cases showing how ARC calorimetry data serves as valid judicial evidence
  • Optimizing factory thermal safety testing to avoid liability risk
