The H.E.L WinISO software runs every reactor with fully independent, automated control — advanced strategies from sensor feedback, time-based profiles or event detection, with real-time logging and .csv export.

Fully customisable, it controls the complete range of process parameters — temperature, stirrer speed, dissolved oxygen, pH, gas flow rates, liquid feed rates and foam & level detection.

What is the BioXplorer 100 used for?
A bench-top, eight-reactor platform for optimising aerobic fermentations and high-throughput bioprocess screening — from E. coli cultivation and gas fermentation through to biofuel and SAF development.
Is the system customisable to my process?
Yes. Every BioXplorer 100 is configured to your requirements — probes, sensors, gas and liquid feeds are all specified around your application. Customisation to the customer’s process is central to H.E.L’s approach.
How many reactors and what working volume?
Eight parallel, independently-controlled bioreactors with working volumes of 50–150 ml (glass body, stainless-steel lid, fully autoclavable including sensors).
What temperature and agitation does it offer?
0 to 130 °C with 0.1 °C resolution, and magnetically-driven captive-impeller stirring from 250 to 1500 rpm.
What does the control software do?
The H.E.L WinISO software gives fully independent control of all eight reactors — automated stirring, gas and liquid additions from sensor feedback, with real-time logging and .csv export.
What monitoring options are available?
pH (0–14) and polarographic dissolved-oxygen sensing as standard; optional BioVIS for online cell-density monitoring and foam/level detection; optional Tandem off-gas analysis for OUR, CPR and RQ.
