Environmental Management System achieved compliance with the global certification program

London, UK, 29th June 2021: HE.L Group (H.E.L), a global developer and manufacturer of innovative laboratory tools for process optimization, safety, and scale-up today announced that its Environmental Management System was granted ISO 14001:2015 certification.

In line with a mission to make the world safer, healthier, and more sustainable, H.E.L has been granted ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS). Awarded on 16th June 2021, the EMS is driving sustainability initiatives that intend to:

  • Assess and regularly re-assess the environmental effects of company activities
  • Minimize material wastage
  • Minimize energy wastage
  • Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials.
  • Minimize the production of waste

 

Roy Eggleston, Global Quality Manager at H.E.L Group, commented: “I’m delighted that we’ve achieved this certification and the enthusiasm that the entire team has shown towards environmental stewardship.  We have an ambitious program with over 60 objectives that range from adopting only electric company vehicles to improving the use of recycled packaging materials and choosing energy suppliers that generates electricity from renewable resources.”
