Independent assessment of COVID security practices at H.E.L Group Headquarters
H.E.L Group continues to review and improve COVID security measures for staff and customers
Our primary concern throughout the COVID pandemic has been and continues to be, the safety and wellbeing of our team and our customers. H.E.L’s London headquarters houses our production, R&D, marketing, and operational teams. We previously outlined the measures we were taking to protect our staff while working onsite. As the guidance from the UK government evolves, and our understanding of the COVID infection improves, we continue to adjust the measures we take to protect our team.
To help us identify improvements we could make in our approach, we contracted MakeUK to conduct an independent audit of our COVID security measures. In full transparency, we are making their full report available to read. We are delighted that this report shows the comprehensive nature of the measures we have taken.
Louise Madden, CEO of H.E.L Group commented
“Everyone has thier part to play in preventing the spread of COVID in the workplace and the community. Our COVID precuations are only successful if the team embraces new ways of working and behaving in the office. I have been continually impressed by the level of compliance that the team has shown with these ways of working, which includes our team members who are working remotely. I know that they are missing the interaction in the office, and thier continued support with social distancing is greatly appreciated.
In addition, this report shows our customers that we have the right measures in place to work with them in a safe manner, supporting vital scientific research and testing, to help with our vision of making the world safer, healthier, and more sustainable.”
Looking after our customers
As the COVID pandemic continues, we know that the pre-pandemic ‘business as usual’ is gradually being replaced by the ‘new normal’.
We also understand that our products and services have vital roles to play in medicine production and development, safety testing, and essential scientific research. As such, we want to be able to support the work of our customers in those vital areas. Our COVID-secure working practices enable us to continue supporting our customers and we continue to work closely with our suppliers to be sure that we can fulfill orders as smoothly and quickly as possible.
We continue our stringent product cleaning and handling protocols in light of the current situation. Our teams will be wearing disposable gloves while handling, packing, and shipping products, we will also be disinfecting our work areas regularly and ensuring that we are cleaning systems before we ship them out.
We’re also aware that some facilities are opening up for in-person service and support visits. We take each request on a case-by-case basis and review it against current government regulations. We are providing on-site support where permitted and our teams have protocols in place to maintain COVID-secure working while on a customer site.
